Ok i am down to do the GNR and well - um the training has not been going that well, what with the hols etc. I can do 7/8 miles no problem and to be honest i just want to get round have i left it too late - any tips would be appreciated.

Try to get at least 2 10 milers in, and possibly a 12, even if you have to walk the odd bit, before the race to give yourself a bit of confidence.
