Cynical Old Bag

Over the years I have become a real cynical old bag, but my faith in humans is returning, the support on these Forums is amazing, and mostly to people who have never met face to face, and probably never will. I hope I never have to go through what Cath and her Mr are going thru now, but to have so much support and so many people thinking of them today must be of some comfort.

Cynical old bags unite, WW! I find it most reassuring that you're all there and will give me a kick up the butt when I'm being pathetic and a cyberhug if disaster strikes. My family and friends are brilliant, but few of them have the slightest concept of how important my involvement in sport is to me!

And I can say that without any threat to my belief that sentimentality is the eighth deadly sin.
