For once in my life I am trying to download music legitimately as opposed to using frostwire. According to HMV's website, I need to enable the background intelligent transfer service in the control panel. I think I have, it's on automatic, but still no joy. Any ideas?

to turn on BITS (as it's known)
go
Start/Programs/Administrative Tools/Services
scroll down to Background Intelligent Transfer Service
right click and select Properties
go to drop down box on Startup - select Automatic - and click Apply.
click Service Status Start
that should do it - BITS will now start up every time you boot the PC

I know what you mean FB, Frostwire's fab and it's what I normally use, but new stuff it takes a while for new stuff to get uploaded there for me to nick!
