We will be marshalling shortly after the start, and again about 500 m from the finish.

Hi - I'm the race director - we've had over 300 pre-entries so far. Last year there were around 200 on the day, so we expect to be close to our 500 limit.

hi guys

i did this one last year in a scorcher. it has just crossed my mind to do it again but i need to ask/grovel/beg the day off tomorrow at work, binning a 12 hour shift which won't be popular.

looks like online entry is still possible.

is this right does anyone know? & is it likely to still be opssible late tomorrow night? [i'll be home 11-midnight]??

Looks like on-line entry stopped at the end of last night according to RW event pages. We will have entries on the day but it's possible we may reach the 500 limit. Suggest you email or phone the contact on our event entry for more info.

I can only advise you to try and get there early on Sunday. For some bizarre reason, the hotter the weather the more entries we seem to get on the day, and the forecast is for 28C Sunday!

Hi Reikirabbit,

I'm leaving Walthamstow at 8, planning to get there for before 9 if that gives you an idea of timing. The roads are usually dead at that time on a Sunday, and the M11 should be a doddle.
