GBM - Won't be at the track tonight - just gentle gym. Thanks for the tips ! Will be there for 4 days so can do a bit of the touristy stuff as well as the race.
Morticia - See you in Dublin !
Clairster - Thanks again. I'm hopeful that I'll be running now.
J8 - cheers! Good luck in the 3 Peaks - next year we can do the High Peak 40.
DB - good luck at Garburn - hope you're feeling figthing fit!
I'm still feeling under the weather but I may go to the track for a jog around - don't think I could manage a track session - I feel like someone has taken my batteries out!
Isaac, Are you around or did you go down south? Wondered if you are doing a run tomorrow? I've got an easy day and could get off early. Anyone else up for 8 - 10 miles tomorrow?
Forgot to say earlier. as I was quickly catching up on the thread, Daz have a good holiday, GBM have a good weekend (think you said you were away) and all the best to those going on the Hillgate pub crawl .
As I'm away I'll also miss the beer festival unless I go tomorrow night and take it easy ,unlike every other time that I've been.
Cork is up to 1600 entries now and part of the route goes through Blackpool so I'll watch out for thr tram lines.I'm also on the same outbound flight as my boss who is going on a family holiday. Small world.
FOAR--Thank you, i'm sure i will have a good weekend. I'm 'mountain biking' in Dalby Forest and staying at Cayton Bay Caravan Park. What could possibly go wrong?
There seems to be a lot happening this weekend. I'll wish everyone a good time and/or good luck now in case i don't have time when i get home from work tomorrow.
FOAR--Have a good time in Cork!!
Mickey6/Minnie6--Have a great holiday!!
Garburn runners--Good luck!!
Daz--Have a great holiday also!!
Clairster--If you are moving this weekend then Good Luck with your new job/home/life!!
FOARs boss--Have a nice holiday!!
Is that everyone?
Morticia--I have taped The Pixies for you as well.
Add glasses (go for a set with interchangable dark and clear lenses so you can wear them anytime and keep flies and wind out of your eyes) and gloves to your list. And a long back waterproof. And a puncture kit/spare inner tube. And tyre levers. And a saddle bag to keep them in. And...And...
minnie/m6 - Hope you both have a great holiday, and minnie at least youve been under the weather before you get there rather than when you do get there ! Hope youre better. See you soon.
Cheers for the run tonight, Kwaka and TST - just what I needed. Good luck to anyone who is racing over the next week - just entered a 10K up in Yorkshire on 24th June - much more scenic than running around Manchester - a nice run if anyone fancies it - fairly flat with a short off road bit, nothing too taxing, honestly!
DB - still fancy Kinder Trog if you don't mind keeping me company - we can get lost together!
Morticia--I might be picking Pete up tomorrow afternoon (it depends how tomorrow goes at work) sometime between 4pm and 5pm. I can drop of the CDs if it is convenient.
GBM- Thanks yes please if it's not too much trouble, although you can't drive down Redhouse Lane at the moment so if you're in a hurry don't worry I'll catch up with you down the track next week. The more I rest the worse my shin splints seem to getting so I might as well just run!!
