well if your werent allowed to add anything to the £500 to make it a bit more...
I was thinking about a new motorcycle helmet the other day so £500 would buy a nice Arai Rx7 and leave you with 1p change.

Thanks for the ideas - I am toying with the idea of a new jacket or a piece of artwork (like that'll ever happen).
But today in Brum I bought meself a new belt from Ted Baker. How rock n roll is that.

Well, its a bit like when you are buying your first pair of slippers - you are very anxious about the watershed in your life this represents, so you hum and haw about it and suffer from the sturm und drang of uncertainty.
