Congratulations to all who finished, comiserations to those who now have an excuse to do another one next year.
I haven't really caught up on who finished where and when (I was busy flying to India over the weekend so couldn't keep track of the reports thread), but I'm looking forward to the race reports thread to bring me up to date.

Crackin' weekend, another lump of heavy metal to add to the collection and a cute little piratey clock for my honest attempts to pre-empt a DNF ... not my fault the plan failed at I finished a bit quicker than last year
Great to have all the supporters there too, added incentive to keep going when it got a bit messy at the end. (although not literally this year thanks to immodium!)
Cheers JD Mrs Kanga appreciated your update efforts, and was (presumably anonymously) alternating between the running commentary on the forum and ironmandead to keep tabs on me. Missed me finishing as our daughter got bored waiting for daddy to finish and wanted to go back to the computer game !

I was getting really twitchy at the end reading about Meldy coming in .... I knew she'd made it and I was getting very nervous reading back LOL!!!
Sorry for DD, Firestar, Petal and Gumps, I almost cried when I saw FS sitting with the supporters while I was on the run.
Thanks again x

Congrats particularly to Squishy and Meldy - Inspirational!
He's got a week without interweb, so his race report will be a little delayed...
But both cars have at least one Cackberry, so perhaps we should exhort them to start writing now...
