  • Yellow balloons arrived this morning image
  • Hi I know it's a bit late inthe day, but is there any chance I could drop off a gel belt with you guys? I was planning to leave it with my friends at mile 15 but am slightly worried I might miss them. Thanks
  • Yes Vicks not problem, you can either drop it to the Runners World stand at FLM Expo.

Clearly label it as Vicks (and your race number) and Group 1 for the attention of Barley.

You will see us just after the Mudchute pedestrian crossing..

    Good Luck..
  • You'll obviously have to tell us who you are when you get to Mudchute.. any rough idea how long it will take you to get to mile 17?

Oh and ive put you in Support Group 1..  Kayvee is my fellow supporter in that group.

  • That's brilliant thanks BB, I'm planning for around 4 hrs in total so I guess mile 17 should be about 2 1/2 ish or 12.30, race no 3772. Thanks very much
  • Supporters

For info, just in case im not there before you start setting up, the groups are usually spread along the barrier (on the left after the zebra crossing) in sequential number order.  If possible its worth leaving as much space as possible between the groups so the supporters and runners have more room when they stop.

I should be at Mudchute by 9.30am, hoping to get there a little earlier.. i'll be bringing balloons & the RW banners.

Thanks Barly and all the supporters.  Have a great day supporting image.
  • The forecast currently seems to say cool, with mild winds
and light drizzle starting in the middle of the day, so you may
get damp in the second half.

    Supporters should come appropriately dressed . . . .

put your own interpretation on that . . .

  • Looks like its going to be a cool sunny/cloudy morning similar to how its been most of the week, temperatures rising from 5 degrees to a peek or 12 mid afternoon.  Possible showers after lunch.

Dont think you could ask for more perfect running conditions.

  • Barley - do you live in MK then?  < Waves up the road >
  • i shall be popping along to mudchute now, have got some pennies for the trainfare image

good luck with all the organisation tomrrow everyone
