Need a good sports injury specialist...

As some of you may know, Mrs RB suffered from a tibial stress fracture last year...it was apparently quite a biad one (for a stress fracture) and necessuitated 5-6 weeks in plaster and slow rehab..

Well...she has had a some shin pain in the last month and has had an X-Ray, which shows another stress fracture in the same place...

We thought it was a one off but this has now got us rather worried...she has paid to have a bone density scan and this may show up an issue there but if it isn't then we need to find a good sports injury specialist to see what else we can do...she did see a podiatrist last year who (inevitably) sold her orthotics that did little or no good at all and may have exacerbated the situation...

So, does anyone know a suitable specialist within reasonable distance of Banbury, Oxfordshire???

Any suggestions also, gratefully received..

My colleague and running partner goes to a a great sports injury place /podiatrist called Sports Feet in Maidenhead (not close but not too far a trek from Banury). He has all sorts of problems over the last few years and a trip to see them normally sorts him right out.

I realise that you may not want to see another podiatrist but if you do then these guys are really good.

I would look to see if you can get an appointment with a chap called Ian Maskil, he is ex Oxford united physio and works out of woodstock chiropractic clinic a couple of days a week. 

i have had several cleints see Ian and can highly recomend him

Ian Maskil, is very good he works out of woodstock chiropractic clinic a couple for days a week, i have had several clients see him and always had good results
