Old Timer -Surgery Success

Surgery on the old knee was completed yesterday,and the surgeon found the torn cartilage deep inside the knee and performed what he described as a partial medial meniscectomy.He tells me that he is confident i can make a full recovery, provided i follow a carefully remedial programme the hospital physios are going to set up for me.You have no idea how great (although sore) i feel today!

Murf,I asked if there was a chance of running the Blackpool half on June 20th,the Physio just shook her head,and said don,t get over enthusiastic just yet.They are going to set my rehab programme up next Monday.All the best to you and everyone for all your kind comments,Old Timer.
