I'm thinking about getting a vertical clitorial hood piercing and wondered how it might affect my running. I realise during the healing time it might restrict my training but I'm currently out of action with a calf injury so it seems like a good time.
Does anyone have any experience of this?
Thanks in advance!

Maybe you should get it done and get someone to keep an eye on it.......

god i just wait cant wait video it and put it on youtube - theres going to be a HUGE queue on here i'm first i'm first!!!!!
Thanks Struthie, from what I can read online it's supposed to be fine for running and other activities but I just wanted to see if anyone had any personal experiences.
And thanks Macca and others for kind offers to 'keep an eye on it' for me but I can confidently say my hubby is going to reserve that privilege
Iron Snorks, not to put too fine a point on it but I am NOT getting my clit pierced (never that!) - it is the hood that sits over the clit.
yasmin - it should be fine it is apparently an easy healing piercing and the line should sit well with the shape of your body and not cause any problems - but you might want to avoid very tight clothing foa couple of weeks

So Maddy - does it "apparently" ever cause an orgasm when running? hmmm?
Thanks Maddy, that seems to be the case from my research too.
Iron Snorks - for aesthetic reasons, for sexual reasons and for psychological reasons (a naughty little secret only I and my partner know about). Well, only I and my partner and about 300 people on this board but that doesn't count because I don't really know anyone here
oh right interesting
it must really hurt when you get it done
CRB - I did read online somewhere about a woman who had to stop running because of being in a constant state of arousal.
While it might be a strong training incentive I put the rumour down to urban legend.
I guess if you suddenly hear I am running every day you'll know I was wrong...
Excuse me - some folks are jumping to conclusions here
I think that it is mostly an urban myth but might occasionally occur if youare wearing the wrong (or right) clothing - I wouldn't really know
