It must be nearing FLM time, if this one's approaching!
Always kicks off the start of the marathon training season, which is pretty tough when you've just engaged in a month long meat 'n' drink fest, and have a distended stomach.
I'll be back again though to add to my goody bag collectables of Taddy memorabilia - what will it be this time? I could do with another reflective bib for night running.
The run itself thru Walton-on-the-Hill after emerging top of Ebbisham Lane is a nice one, dodging the 4 x4 drivers out to collect the Sunday papers.

how tough is this course? I am in training for the marathon (but it will be a slow time) but need a nice 10mile run sometime in jan.. is this the one for me?
Just been talked into this having finished the Hogs Back today. I'll also be aound 2 hours if its challenging but am assured its a good training session for FLM and it will stop me getting lazy over Christmas. Intrigued about the goody bag.

It's started my year for the last few years now, draws a line under all the festive excesses!
Only another three years and my son can do this too, then I stand a chance of not having him nick my goody bag off me as soon as I get home!
A small section is the same as Epsom 10 but this is a different route - and it is multi-terrain so a bit more interesting.

A week to go, and despite getting out a couple of times since Chrimbo, I can see this as being my slowest TaddyTen yet, but concerned? Not a bit!
Can the organisers or a local runner please please please, however ensure that The Tatty Corner pub has some ale on draught for once - it's been 'off' the last two years - and I don't mean widget p**s either - some Harveys would go down a treat! Ta!

Sorry to X thread, but which one was the ten miler from Epsom Grandstand last year that was a one lap road course? Can't find it on RW this time.
There was a chap called Will who ran it in full miltary with a 50lb pack on his back as well last year...deep respec'
I signed up online Saturday Night.If my number doesn't come in post,do i turn up on day and print of receipt to collect my number?
I am not normally this late in entering a race,but found out i have the day of work and thought what a fab way to spend my day off!!

It's bound to be very cold at the start though - can the organisers get a few calor gas heaters on to the Downs at the start please so we don't have our butts frozen waiting for the big kick-off?
