I still prefer the idea of the bum shuffle being a new dance craze - possibly with accompanying novelty tune and full Macarena-style routine. Wish I'd thought of that earlier - could have had a Christmas No 1 on my hands.

Lady P - there is always one eh? Bum Shuffle to be done to the Macarena, with one bum hop midway. Not sure if dance routine's make it onto the charts though.
HA - Brilliant idea!!!!!! We should form a CHARITY called NBS, make people raise money, run for us and then we can design some really cool leggings with extra padding around problem areas!

I find the cool air "turbocharges" your lungs.
Just managed a comfortable PB for a trail route I do thanks partly to the 5 degrees C air temp.
I find the cool air makes it harder but I am just getting over a cold!
Got a nice long run planned for tomorrow morning. I hope it's sunny like this morning! I finish work today so it's a much running as I can pack in until I go back to work!
I did that - I felt really awful yesterday and decided I would go out for a lazy one. Ended up getting lost and instead of doing planned 4 miles, I did 7!
Felt better though. But then discovered that my CHIN goes numb! It's the weirdest sensation. How do you combat numb chin area syndrome?

I'm not sure how long I'll be running for tomorrow but I know I'll be doing lot of hills!!! Hills rock in the winter, they keep you warm.
Running around Oxford it's pretty flat, although not as flat as my native Norfolk...still I'm quite new to all this running malarky so a flat 5K keeps me quite toasty. I'm not suffering from any numb areas mind...
Allthough my feet tend to start going numb when I hit about 5-6 miles or 40-60min...probably just rubbish trainers though...
Maybe I should find meself a hill too...
I stopped shaving a couple of weeks ago and that seems to have sorted it.
Any numb areas are a good excuse to get the other half to rub it back to life for you

I went to the pub instead of speed sessions. Not impressed with self. Particularly since I have a hangover and am now eating a Xmas doughnut. Bloody festive season
