Well done Mima!!! You're looking fab in your pics on facebook
Just thought I'd check in - exercise every day this week. Either gym (cardio and resistance), run, or swim, or some combination of the three. Including an open water swim in the rather cold river Derwent *shiver* I only managed the 500m race, then another 500m of the 1.5K race - just too cold! I couldn't coordinate my muscles!
Not quite so good on the diet front though - Chinese takeaway last night
Evening all. Back from my first weigh in and down 3.5 pounds so a good start. Sis was down 6 which is awesome and she's really motivated. A wee 30 run for me tomorrow.
Well done GFB, to you and your sister That's a great start!
I thought you meant 30 miles too!
I'm not quite sure what's going on with my weight at the moment - the scales this morning were 4lbs down on what I was on Friday, which I don't believe for a minute
Crazy weekend of helping friends and family with various house-moving/gardening adventures, so very physically active but no opportunity for 'exercise' (boo!) or nibbling on things (yay!)
Gym yesterday for 75 minutes, whilst watching Pointless - which is excellent for distraction Operation Washboard Stomach continues!
Dead on calories today, but I am feeling down and want to resort to wine. In theory I could make it up by swimming tomorrow, but in reality I don't think it very likely. so the question is, do I drink, or not?
Good weightloss ITB ... were the "vegetables" chips by any chance?
Pilates and a 2.15 mile plod is morning, and a 4 mile walk this afternoon. Out to dinner this evening, so calories will be over ... I am focusing on getting fit first!
It was 28c (air temp) when I was out cycling but early morning I think the north sea water temp felt more like 12c.
I have not had chips for months, the cafe stop on the cycle ride had a chip shop next door which I did not notice until I was leaving there and I cycled past a number of other chip shops

Food is still going well, but exercise is lacking. I did do a long swim race yesterday though, so managed to get a couple of treats to eat
... - that should say 30 minute run lol!! I'm not into ultras just yet!!

3 mile run and 2.5 mile walk
(((hugs Caz)))
3 mile run tonight. Very painful - seeing the knee specialist on Friday *crosses fingers*
Only the 3lb lost in the last 2 weeks and I had a number of vegetables
I was back home doing a warm weather training for Ironman and even did a 45 minute swim in the north sea!!

I did have the wine last night, but I've had a good day today and I am nearly back on track. Really pleaed about that.
Is it possible for 'warm weather' and the north sea to be mentioned in the same sentence? I thought it was always freezing!
50 minutes gym and a 50 minute swim tonight

The sea here was at about 18.5 degrees last time I looked ... ot that I have done more than have a paddle .. it felt cold to me!
Had a good few days back on the chips and a new 2.4 mile swim pb.
Pitty about the DNF on Ironman Wales at 97 miles on the cycle after missing the cut off time. Plus on top of that gained 4lbs these last 2 weeks.
Still ill from Wales, as today I made a healthier cheese free pizza with 5 fruit and veg on as toppings.
Brand new line in the sand starts Tuesday with only 8 months to the next Ironman, after my DNF in Ironman Wales (links to my race report).
Busy on here recently.
Down the 3lbs this week, who knew eating vegetables would be good for you?
