I'd like a pirate kit but me in lycra would not be aesthetically pleasing!

I'll find a daily inspirational quote to keep you all going
No Nam, I would just like to be a pirate!! I have a pirate logo on here - am I actually allowed it if I don't do tri?!
You could committ yourself to doing one next year, that way you might get away with it....
Ooops, they didn't ask for proof when I signed up I just liked the pretty logo - I don't want to de-pirate though?! Can I be a pirate supporter?Ask me when I'm drunk and I'll probably sign up for anything!
You can be a pirate in training!! I would consider myself that... What do you think Bear... I think one of her New Years resolutions would be...
"to earn my pirate badge"

sounds good to me - could be any old tri, doesn't have to be an IM.
I'm focussing on sprint tris with a view of hopefully managing an Oly in the autumn... it's not IM (yet...) but it's all 'Pirate Training'....
Sooo... come one Aitch.... Neath Sprint in May... very Newbie friendly... or shall I ask in a few hours...?
I own the forums, of course I'd be around to comment.
Off to enjoy my last night of food & booze........
Have a good eve everyone - starvation starts tomorrow
I am on board for this one.
This morning I was 10st 11lb. 5'4". Size 16-18. My problem is that *all* the fat puddles around my middle & boobs. I have spindly legs/arms, and I suspect my bones are made of polystyrene; I find it very difficult otherwise how to understand people my weight who are a size 12 or so. I was a size 12 about 3 years ago - when I weighed 8.5 stone. I have to get back into serious training to get that low, though - I have managed 9.5 stone through diet modification, but never less. And I prefer to work it off through exercise & eat reasonably normally.
it'll still take something like an hour, even for the winners, and plenty of others will be well over 90 mins at a guess
quimby - u must be my ywin cos I keep my fat in the same places . I am same height just heavier .
never mind we will conquer this invasion of fat!
Pea, I sympathise, but I am glad I am not the only one! I despair at some people who moan to me "oh, I'm 11 stone now - I am thinking I might need a size 14". Argh!
Right, the thread has inspired me. I am off next door to the exercise bike. I have a Toffee Crisp to work off. Back later.
