OK...when I did my first (and supposedly last) IM, one of the few things that kept me reasonably sane was being able to go on a few bike rides with my fellow Pirates...sometimes it was only me and Oxy but at others we had a reasonable size group...(I understand that Oxy is now considered a group in his own right but hey ho...)
Anyway...I was wondering if anyone fancied the occasional (or even regular) bike ride around the Cotswolds (or bits of it)....if Lindi comes along we can even do the famous Cotswold 112 miler...but maybe save that for when i get remotely fit....
So, if anyone is interested, just let me know. I am planning something around the 50+ mile mark this weekend....but another weekend will do if this is short notice...
Cheers,
RB

What about doing some reliability rides - loads about Jan-March time.
Pops...if you know of some then I'd probably be up for it...just as long as I don't have to navigate ...eh, Plum???
BTW Plum...wasn't that what we did last time??? Train station that is?
Half way between London and the Cotswolds would appeal to the masses??
I have a couple of 100 milers booked but happy to meet up for some when shifts allow
Where is halfway between London and the Cotswolds??? Wendover perhaps???
just thinking of people travelling out of town .... Thame/Oxford way (I know its not the Cotswolds but we could head that way)

Do you get any midweek time off?
I'll be doing a few round here - Long Eaton, South Pennine from Derby and one or two from Rosliston near Burton.
For most of you this series might be more convenient ? They have them all round the country anyway and normally only cost a couple of pounds - you can normally follow others.

They seem to be quite well advertised so they'll probably get a good turnout and a good mix of ability - ones round here are more word of mouth.
There is also the audax/sportive rides that some of us are lining up too.
I think we do need a calendar...
I've booked the White Horse Challenge...can't remember when that is but apart from that, I'm free on Sundays....
So anyone with a few dates booked, please start the calendar and we can fill in as necessary..
Thanks..
