Just realised there's no shower facilities at the race so perhaps I shall forego the shopping trip on the way home. Bluewater's not quite the place for the sweaty, post-race look!!!!
I will actually be at a duathlon in Ongar. I should do this half as it is part of the club champs but I need the bike training more (and at my tri club I get 4 races for a tenner and this is one of them)
I put myself down as a runner this year. Not quite sure what I was thinking, but it is quite relaxed so I wont worry about it...............well unless they pick you off with a rifle if you are still on the course after 5 hours
I shall go and find a pink ribbon shop tomorrow, if its not snowing or freezing cold I'll have it round a pony tail in my hair.
Just had a change of plans, I was going to do the race then run 9 miles home to get the planned 22 miles in, but home is all uphill from paddock wood, so I'm going to run there then do the race instead , thats the pb out of the window but theres always another day for that.
If you're coming from the south on the A21, turning off at Blueboys roundabout, look out for a knackered sweaty old bird with a pink ribbon in her hair, dont spose there'll be 2 of us.
Bugger - I thought we got an extra hour in bed on Sunday.................. I've got a dj in the pub on Saturday night which will keep me awake. Not good planning
I wanna do Beachy this year too - lets hope Bradley doesn't decide to get married on that day;-)
Not thought about that yet Tracey, why, are you coming to join me . I dont even know what time the race starts........best look on the site. I'll work it out and let you know.
