After series of calf/pereneus problems culminating in a such a build up of rubbish in my pereneus that spent several weeks hobbling around with tendonitis, have found wearing normal flight socks during hard sessions has helped. However, slip around a bit unless wear normal socks over, which doesn't seeem practical for the summer. Looking to buy proper "running" compression socks. No point considering skins as anything going under foot almost guarenteed to give me blisters.
Comments please re Nike/Canturbury/X socks varieties.
I've run in x-socks non compression socks before and found them fine. Not sure if long socks will compare favourably as regards material compared to Nike. Nike also seem to generally retail slightly cheaper.
Any comments welcome.
