I will be wearing a Spinal Injuries Association vest which is yello with Sonic the Hedgehog on the front and back. I have Brown hair which will be tied back, I'll have an adidas running cap on (black with foleresent yellow strips) and Black adisdas running gloves on. I'll try and have CAZ written on my vest (front & back) and also try and put Congleton Harriers somewhere on it! Hope that help's a little.
I just want some big cheers and maybe some nice jelly babes & if there is any going maybe some poweraid drink.
Right now it's a mixture of excitement and trepidation. I am so looking forward to this though, it's been a long 6 year wait through the ballot and I intend to have a great time.
Off out for a gentle three miler tonight to get the legs working again and I'll be picturing the finish line on the Mall all the way home.
Sezz has just reminded me on the Support Group 1 thread:
The interchange to the DLR at Bank is restricted!!
So - when you are heading to the Excel Centre, or to the start on Sunday - take into consideration the following:
Central Line to DLR - it's a bit of a hike and a nightmare at rush hour so best avoided if possible...
Northern Line to DLR - unaffected - straight down the stairs as usual.
Monument (Circle/District) to DLR - is completely blocked off. Get off at Tower Hill instead and switch to Tower Gateway for the DLR (it's only a couple of minutes walk and well sign-posted).

Family will be at 6 m 13m and 22m so it will be good to know there is someone else out there...Will make sure I look out for ...On the left I believe at mile 17...
Thanks MikeFrog - I realise I should have registered with BB long before I arrived at the expo! Thanks for doing that - I'm a male reecebot and am wearing a St John's Ambulance vest.
As a reecebot, my gel-based emotions are non-existent, but I dropped off a (labelled) bag of 3 gels in the cardboard box in the RW stall in the hope that these might get to group 7 and thence to me. I'm happy to swap for any other gel or gels in the melee.
Many thanks for supporting me. Sorry for the delay, I've not been posting as have been having 'the taper wibbles.''..
Forum Name: Scoobs Real Name: Rach Estimated time to 17 miles - gosh not sure! Um 9 1/2 - 10 min miles? 170 mins - 2 hours 50 maybe, might be a bit quicker than that if going well - puff puff. :0) Running club vest - burgandy with navy bits, BIG name on front saying RACH. :0), black running shorts, white socks and white with rather nice blue bits running shoes with red laces of course. :0) Hair in pony tail. Lots of cheers will give me a boost and would be very much appreciated.
I think Mikefrog mentioned this a few posts ago - are we all doing the green ribbon thing? I will, assuming I remember to bring it home from work tomorrow.
My number is 42907 and I'll be wearing a charity Winston's Wish vest, which is turquoise with red piping (hmmm, tasteful!), and I'll have 'GAR' on a home-made name plate. I shall also have a very red face which will coordinate nicely with the red piping. I expect that I'll be passing by mile 17 between 3hrs 20m and 3hrs 40m after crossing the start, depending on how things go.
Trust all is well with you lot and that you are getting excited. I know I am and I'm not running. Looks like I'll be getting lots of bananas and jelly babies. May not be around too much again so if not see you all on Sunday - woooo hooooo

Reecebot - I've no objection - Bouncing Barlist is in charge of whos in which group
so I've asked him to add you to ours.
Are you a male Reecebot or a female Reecebot?
And do you have any strong feelings about flavours of gels?
