When the going really gets tough for you next week, try and think of all of your friends around the country who will be willing you on to what will be a historic achievement.

What a fantastic challenge, what a fantastic opportunity. I'm quite happy that I'm not doing the same and jealous at the same time. Enjoy yourself. Take a moment each day to be in that particular moment and not to think ahead or behind where you are at that time. This is not a dress rehearsal

Very best wishes to all 11 of you - I'm marshalling the last one so will be there to encourage you with only ten miles to go. Looking forward to the updates.

I won't get up to see you mainly due to having a husband who has turned into a spy (how else can he explain the number of overseas trips he's done recently?).
Have a great time, it's a beautiful part of the world to be doing this barking mad thing in, so lets hope the views take your mind off the pain! Not that you will experience any pain, at all. Ever.

Arrived this morning, beautiful pace, all settled into our lodge. Have driven round the course, not flat but really stunning scenery, food is wonderful here and we're being looked after so well.
Marathon No. 1 tomorrow, will report in tomorrow night although the internet is so slow here
Well I hope it rains....
At least then you'll get a bit of relief from this awful muggy weather.

Is this how it feels when your children are giving birth? You know it's painful, but there's not a lot you can do about it till they contact you and say they're OK!!!!
