It will burn if there's inflammation there - and I am talking about the achilles.......
Ice it for 20 minutes every 2 hours - you will need to do this for a few days to let the inflammation settle and die off. Then you can look at sorting out the problem.....
Don - it will be sore for a while. I think you need to get it looked at when you do come back, as you may have a partial tear as the worst case scenario. Maybe try an ankle support to see if that give you any relief.....
