Rosey, a gazillion pages ago (ie can't find it) you asked a question about kit and stuff that either worked didn't work or something along those lines. What exactly were you asking and I'm happy to share my own thoughts on the topic.
hi everyone..
just wanted to drop by and say that it was great racing IMCH with so many pirates!
although i am a tritalker and not a pirate you all treated me like a pirate.
it would be nice to see tritalk build up the kinda 'family' that you guys have; it was very inspiring.
i even enjoyed sharing a hottub with 4 naked pirates after the race! and that is not something i would normally brag about on an internet forum at all!

i only race an ironman every 5yrs (family deal i made many moons ago), so now i am gonna focus on the shorter tri stuff and also try and break 3hrs for the marathon.. so who knows.. i may become a half pirate yet!

Glad you enjoyed the support. Did you have a good race? Even without the naked pirates I didn't fancy the hot tubs!
We are sure to see some tritalkers at the vit - I think we have a bout 4 people racing and 400 shouting abuse.
I had a dip in the whirlpool baths afterwards. They weren't too bad but I reckon that by the end they must have been Ironman soup. Maybe thats what they make next years bouillon out of.
Milkywaye - I was camped next to you in Switzerland in the big blue tent. Hope your hols in France went OK. We had a barney with the campsite owners when leaving because they wanted to charge us more for our tent than if we had turned up with a caravan/campervan. I don't think that we were the only ones to have problems with them either.
