is anyone getting dizzy spells? i keep on getting dizzy, never had that before. it's nothing too major but it's getting a bit annoying. may have to break the habit of a lifetime and go to the doctor.
I got it as well. I've put it on here for anyone who didn't get it. As a new pirate, I feel a bit of a fake answering her questions! I also need help to answer some of them, like how many pirates there are etc.
Hy Orla I am a Swiss Journalist writing for the newspaper „Neue Luzerner Zeitung“, but I also work as a free journalist for the „Fit for Life“ (www.fitforlife.ch), a Swiss Sportsmagazine. I’ve seen that you finished the Ironman Switzerland – with a yellow-blak shirt. I did some recherches and found out, that you’re a member of the „Pirate Ship of Fools“. So we decided to write a story about the sporty pirates and I would be very happy, if you could tell me something about you.
How became you a pirate? Why? Do you know other pirates? When and where have you seen for the first time one of the pirates? What did you have to do to get a pirate? What is fascinating on the pirates? Are there any pirate-rules? Do you know how many members the pirates have? How often do you run/swim/cycle (per week)? What are your goals? How many Ironmen have you already done? Your fastest Ironman? Your age? And you live in…? Your Profession? Are there some moments, where it’s very hard to be a pirate?Thank’s so much for answering. Best regards,Daniela Zeman
If anyone tried to be a spokesperson the rest of us would only say what a load of rot it was. The whole point is that we're not a club and everyone does exactly as they please. Getting into magazines is the height of Gaylording.
In fact we should try our damdest (??) to tay out of them .... have them beating our doors down begging for interviews, papparazzi camping outside our houses

UIW glad your mate is ok - they had wires and things out when I passed - how did he crash ?
The famous pirates eh ? I think there are four uk tri mags now - only a matter of time before they spot us !
And 220 only did it accidentally once when Cheerful Dave and CRAB snuck into a big pic from Ballbuster a couple of years ago.
I haven't bought the mag for years but I can't remember them doing things on URWRC (or whatever it was called) when they were the RW 'reps' at races.
I'm surprised that Triathletes World don't do something since they're a Rodale mag as well.
