I thought I would get up and iron because Teen told me last night he had ironing he needed doing before he goes away tomorrow - he asked very nicely actually
have now found 1 t shirt and 1 jumper - possibly did NOT need to get up at 5.30 for that? Someone needs to teach that boy to iron - I don't mind doing it but not to be able to iron a single t shirt without a woman to do it fo you seems to smack of poor life skills
Have to say my mum HATED ironing... She taught me at 11!

my mum loved ironing - even ironed bras and knickers (cotton ones)
Once Was Thin Spouse used to iron beautifully and do all the ironing until he got too important to do ANYTHING in the home
joke is when I left him he told me I had to stand on my own two feet now and he couldn't look after me any more - after a great deal of introspection I worked out that he booked holidays (his obsession) and he did call for takeaways on a Friday night (I don't much like using the phone)
My wife hates ironing too (freud anyone?) so its as well I do it...
Think when you leave someone they just lash out... Say anything to make themselves feel better...

and actually we're pretty civil compared to many separated couples - I don't hate him after all, in fact he's one of my oldest friends and the father of my children, I just couldn't carry on being that lonely and ignored any longer
