My approach to blisters depends on the type of blister!
If its a really bulbous one with lots of fluid, with only thin layer of skin - then pop it and put compeed over it.
If however it is a deep blister, under quite thick skin (like on the sole of the foot pad)...I leave them, and sometimes put a compeed on it to give a little protection.
Just thought I would mention that I burst a fairly deep blister on the side of my heel earlier this year and obviously didn't keep it clean enough - ended up with a blood infection and on antibiotics. Not fun. So if you do burst, keep it STERILE!
yes- make sure it is clean before you put on a compeed/plaster tho too - dont trap any dirt/ bacteria underneath - and especially if you ever use that second skin stuff on grazes ..can be nasty

If they're not bothering you, don't burst them.
Put Compeed on, as MW suggests.
There! That's helpful isn't it - three different answers

A quick summary...................
Bulbous blisters with lots of fluid - clean the area, burst with a sterile needle and apply a compeed.
Deep blisters under a thick layer of skin - leave unless they're causing a problem or likely to burst, in which case apply a compeed.
