Sometimes though, you aren't always going to get a pat on the head or an agreement to what you post.  Dont' take offense - just carry on posting or move on.

The only way to find out whether or not you are being ignored is to say something controversial and wait for the response.

Matt -the best way to get a response would be to just talk about yourself all the time, bigging yourself up and telling the rest of us why we're all losers.  I've seen it work on here before, trust me.

Alao, I often find that I read something funny which makes me laugh out loud (or at least snigger quietly to my computer screen) and want to reply to it, but there's another 4 or 5 pages of thread already before the end and by the time I've got to the end I've nearly lost the will to live, never mind post.
