hmmm.. I disagree in the case of Daniel Craig and Judi Dench.. I think they did terrific jobs.
the french geezer with the beard - not the best at all. Very amateur dramatic. He was bad in Casino Royale too.
The Bond girl - very wooden. No great emotional range.
The other one with the red hair - not given enough depth at all.
I think it's a case of liking something despite a couple of obvious plot holes/bad acting etc. and seeing past them - suspension of disbelief. Although I am also a Doctor Who fan and in my late 30's so when I was younger I had to look past wobbly sets and plastic bag monsters.. Maybe I am just good at it!
(I hated the amount of CGI in the new Star Wars movies...)
Yes - I hate Doctor Who. Another pointless show with awful acting - in my opinion. And yes, I understnad that thousands of people enjoy it and I respect their right to do so (unless they join a real life offline fan club).
I don't like Dr. Who either, but I like Jet Li! Apparently he was so fast that they used to have to slow down the film in the movies, I don't know whether he's that quick any more.
hmm.. yeah I hate Star Trek with the same animosity you hold for Dr Who - a girl would have to be H.O.T. to get me involved in that stuff, I have to say. Although the one with the pointy ears on Enter[rise would do it for me. (I work shift so sometimes crap TV is a must..)
Yeh. I know people have different tastes. I am staying with my brother temporarily, and all we watch is like X Factor, American Model, Last Man Standing (not too bad), Millionaire etc. I can't stand any of it.
I would rather watch CSI, Simpson, The Practice etc. Or go for a run (normally) or watch a movie.
Can't stand reality shows and fantasy is pretty good if it's Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter
Love CSI Las Vegas!!! That ginger guy on Miami irks me!
And I have a DVD collection to the ceiling cos I'd rather watch DVDs than tv - although some are box sets - like The Shield - which I missed the las series of and am catching up on at the moment..
mmm... I rarely get much out of those tbh unless they were someone I really liked..
I am hoping a book called The Dirt - which is basically a cololective autobiography of Motley Crue does indeed get made into a film as is the rumour - now THAT I would love to see!
well I am in the position of having an 8 year old martial arts cartoon fanatic daughter (she has a yellow belt with 2 tips in Kenpo too) so I get to enjoy all those things free of suspicion from other adults

Right ok and there we have it right there.
I hate Doctor Who, Star Wars etc. So that would explain why you enjoy it all and I don't.
Different tastes (shock horror - how on earth did that happen?
I am in my late twenties so while you have a couple years on me, I didn't exactly grow up in the age of great acting and CGI
I grew up with the Smurfs and the Gummi Gears
You "hate" Doctor Who????!!!!
"hate" ??
You can't take that back you know!! lol
Smurfs.. hmmmmmm
As would Jet Li Cakey

lol - no need to add the disclaimer there PO - I ain't gonna get snotty if you don't like something I do.
Anyway - I think the Bond vs. Bourne question will never be answered! It rages on through the media..
LOL!
Have yuo ever seen the documentary about Star Trek geeks?
I actually have a friend who is a member of an offline Doctor Who fan club. They have gatherings and watch it. I think he is about 32.
Ironically enough, it started off as a date and when I heard that, I did a very quick U Turn
ok - I am definitely not gonna defend that...

I like the original CSI. But agreed on Miami - he is just too cool!
I also have a DVD collection. Can't stand most of the crap on TV nowadays
All the Bourne films
I like animations as well - funny. Erm - some chick flicks (although not too chicky flicky), comedys and light hearted stuff.
Some actions - Breakdown, changing lanes, bruce willis etc.
One thriller
No horrors (can't watch them - very active imagination...)
And you?
ahem..
off the top of my head..
2 Bond films.. Goldeneye & Casino Royale
all the Bourne films
Die Hard 1-4
All the Rocky films
the Firefly box set and Serenity
the Clint Eastwood westerns and couple of his other thriller stuff like Line of Fire
The Shield boxsets 1-6
The Sopranos 1-3
Blakes 7 - all of them
Dr Who - loads on video (about 30), 3 on DVD
Passion of the Christ
The Last Temptation of Christ
Ghandi
Blue Juice
Point Break
American Pie the Wedding
Into the Blue
The Prophecy 2 & 3
About 7 or 8 different Steven Seagal (I know, I know)
about 7 or 8 Jean Claude Van Damme (see above)
Ong Bak
Crouching Tiger...etc
House of Flying Daggers
Death on the Nile
Harvey
The Matrix
Matrix Reloaded
Matrix Revolutions
Ultraviolet
I have so many it's hard to focus on them to be honest.. but you get the gist!
That's pretty.....different to mine
But then, I am a girlie
More than likely.
And some dramas as well - I like those ones that are based on someone's life. JM Barry, Beatrix Potter etc. They make me sad, but I like them
mmm... I rarely get much out of those tbh unless they were someone I really liked..
I am hoping a book called The Dirt - which is basically a cololective autobiography of Motley Crue does indeed get made into a film as is the rumour - now THAT I would love to see!
Yeh I really liked them! JM barry wrote Peter Pan!
I want the Hobbit to be a movie
*sigh*
Hmm.. dunno if I would enjoy Peter Pan much tbh..
always wanted to see Mulan though.
and I love Avatar the last airbender! Ever see that?
and Avatar?? no? It's online - you can watch them all in the comfort of your sofa
Mulan is kinda expensive to buy still - bloody Disney - Might rent it out if I can.
I didn't see Avatar
Yeh I hear you - nail anyone who may have children... Not on since I have no offspring but I still quite like their movies
