A good hard 20m run, wont be racing it as using as pace prep for Halstead Marathon.
Lovely route with a killer hill near the start, but worth the views at the top, well thats what I remember from 2006 anyway....

They have changed the course this year. It is all down hill.
Can anyone give me details of the route for this run? Doesn't seem to be much info on the RW link above and don't want to be hassling the organiser this early on!!

It's a cracker of a run with scenery second to none
Since the Garburn is described as 'incredibly hilly' I would say yes. None of Rhayader is off road though.

C&S, the limit is 600 and to my certain knowledge there has always been entries on the day. Angela would be the person to ask though.
UM, if you are putting a girlie team together you should ask Nutty Runner, she has won it a few times and is planning to run it this year too. You would be well in with a chance of winning the crystal ashtray then. I have been asked to run for a team from Port Talbot Harriers this year.
It's a cracker, you won't be sorry (well, not for more than a week anyway).
No problem entering on day but since last year we pick the teams

and as you go round the first bend it goes up again then again
I have been back on the road 3 weeks caz. Quite a setback but working hard at it Caz. All good with you I hope.
First time I ran that hill I could not believe how long it went on for !
Hi. Looking at doing this for the first time. Is the whole route on road? It look as if it would be v scenic - is it a nice run as i would need something to distract me from the pain!
