managed a very slow 5 miles with the club last night but legs feel fine today which should be a rest day but hmmm I wonder should I go out for a run later or stick to the schedule and have a rest day

I did a lovely moonlit chilly 4.5 miler this morning at 6am. Peace and quiet. I'd say go with what your legs fancy and have a day of from schedule MF7. Glorious weather here today.

Jnr been on half term this week - lovely to have him home so all non-work time been dedicated to him - my miles have only just beaten my posts
Had a lovely time at the Punchbowl 30 last Sunday though; conditions underfoot were almost alpine and the iced knee high ponds revived the spirit at 25 miles plus - who said there wouldn't be snow in May! 
Can't say back to the schedule next week - don't have one! but Steyning Stinger next adventure ....where did I put those trainers? Have fun all

I've been terrorising the local golfers - running through the myriad of paths in the woods behind us I've discovered that after an hour or so I can pop straight out onto a Tee covered with mud and leaves. Wakes them up
then return trip through the orchards and ploughed fields. I seem to have mastered the ability of staying up-right on snow and ice but mud! More lessens are clearly required.

Just joined this forum. Will be running the race in May so good to find a thread on the race.
Morning folks, legs working fine again on this mornings Tempo run, seemed to have recovered from the 41 miles and 7000 feet of climbing on the weekend.
