Dinner, somewhere nice

Meet for coastal run in morning, 1-2 hours less or more!

march 22nd is mothers day so probably not a good choice........May 9th is the strattford tri weekend which a few pirates are doing.........

D74 I did that tri last september............living in the south wales valleys I'm a little used to hills but that tri almost killed me
and the sea at teignmouth is great to swim in
the June date seems ok but isn't that the coach's 40 th birthday weekend over milton keynes way..
Yep, I was supposed to do it but had to Barley it again Didn't even make it down to do the photos either due to work and going in for the ankle op the week after. Will have to see about this year...
So if we're up for training weekend bases then I can see your Devon, and Somerset and raise you a Peak district Winnats Pass and Holme Moss
If it wasn't for the lack of a legal OW swim option then I'd definately invite people up for a weeked round the Peaks.

I think if youre going to the trouble of organising a training weekend you need to bump the durations up. 6 hours bike on Saturday and open water swim Sunday morning before breakfast.
Unfortunately I cant do any of the dates else would of loved to join you.
You cant do June 20th as thats my Birthday party, if youre coming there is an Open Water swim and bike ride from MK in the morning.

It sure will be fun, there's nothing like getting together with a few others to have a training weekend, hopefully youll be lucky with the weather and have a lovely sunny weekend.
Dont forget im vetoing 20th June, ive just about secured a venue for my party and will be sending out invitiations in a couple of weeks.
Trickster, I'll raise you Dartmoor, endless hills and lots of sheep and ponies to hit.
Dartmoor is hiller for walking (I'm a 55 mile Ten Tors veteran), Exmoor is hillier for cycling (namely cos it's not quite so hilly as Dartmoor so there's actually more roads).
They are both quite hilly though, as is Devon in general.
Well it is possibly going to be held June and you who are training for Ironpeeps races should either be up there knocking out the mileage or tapering so round and round would be good, If and it is only a slight if I could make it I would certainly want to make something decent out of it . Loops are good in that people can join in drop out/keep going to their hearts content whilst the cake eaters can eat cake.
Couldnt we do the whole IM distance over the weekend......... bike on the saturday and run and swim on the Sunday
