There is no link between knuckle cracking and arthritis. Someone actually did some research on it and I read the paper. They interviewed loads of old folks and x-rayed them and asked for their Knuckle cracking history. No correlation.
Cub 1 can wiggle his ears. I can wiggle my little toes independently from the rest but it gives me the creeps so I don't do it often.
have been back on board though only a pootle round the yard but still.... she's calming down a lot and the major over the top panic attack reactions are much less so I'm feeling a bit more positive. she's stuffing hard bloody work.
unfortuntely also got a bit of a situation with gypsies. they'vbe got their eye on her and have been approached for the 2nd time to sell her. have reported it to the police and am having her freeze mark redone in the next couple of weeks. this one even knew where I kep ther :< am having it done on her shoulder so it stil shows under saddle. it's all a bit stressful at the moment
several people have said they'd soon give her back. I'm not sure she'd load either but what worries me as given how difficult she is she could end up going through hell and ending up oin the meat market if she was stolen :<
I have looked into microchipping but from what I can gather it's jnot worth doing. most sales/exporters don't check for them, it's not a visual deterant, and they migrate round the body so are hard to find.
I didn't know that microchips could migrate around the body...that's just plain weirdness.
I can't touch my nose with my tongue (end of nose is WAY too far from my face), but I can touch the end of my chin with it. Tongue, not nose.
Maybe we are one big weird dysfunctional family on here. Could we set up some kind of business/freak show and earn a few bob in this recession, I wonder?
