They might have been hungry! Once I did a race and the organisers gave out burger-type things half way through the race, where the patty was sausage and the "buns" were american pancakes. They were excellent - I had 5 or 6. Yum yum.
Great, I did 9 miles the other week at just over 8 min mile pace, quick for me and fuelled by fish and chips for tea and two jammy donuts in a meeting the day before. Power to unhealthy food.
well i though as im taking a break after half ill treat myself to the birthday cake at work and my body just didnt want it. i had an apple frist then it said what are you doing giving me cake. then i thought tea and biscuits and i didnt like that either! i want to eat crap!

I took part in Silverstone half the other week, carb loaded on pasta...finished in 1:41:57
last November took part in Coventry (quite hilly) half marathon
carb loaded....on chinese takeaway. (sweet and sour chicken/rice/noodles)
finished in 1:37:24
