Managed 1 good for age. also with running for a club that marshals the LM we are given 6 places which in turn a balloted to those who marshalled.
So guess lucky is the short answer

Hello Group 6 runners. Hope the training is going well.
I mentioned on the main support thread that I will be a roving supporter, following Fat Face around where I can so I may not actually make it Mudchute, so best to email the other group supporters if you would like anything in particular. I need to work out timings and public transport options, and whether I can get from Mudchute to mile 22 in time.
I ran in a bit of the hail last year but just happened to be coming through the underpass along Embankment at the time. I was soaked through by the time I got to the finish - worth it though.

Weather here was great yesterday, but I didn't have time to plod, now today is grey and cold and I have a run scheduled!!
Thanks for the veggie jellies yesterday Happy!! It's the gelatin in sweets that I can't have. I'll have to scout some 'safe' sweets to hand in at the expo.

last 20miler this weekend if my body holds out..all sorts of niggles are appearing, achilles pain, groin pain, half a tooth falling out, pulled side muscle picking the dog up..I'm falling to pieces!!!! At least tonights 6.5miles passed without any major incidence...
