A Pirate spotting of a different kind at the 'Ride to the Horns' sportive last weekend. A couple of guys pootled past, then started going on about 'he's got a Pirate on his back'. Turns out his mate had a Barcelona tri cycle top on, which features a photo from Roth front and back, with a Pirate who's race number clearly says 'Linda'.
I assume it was Lindi, but her and Eccentric are denying all knowledge, but it was deffo pirate kit.

that's me in those there pictures from nice a few pages back. i bumped into foggy swimming today and he said i'd been spotted!
i have indeed been awol since IMF, mostly after getting pinged by a car, but i'm back training again now and if i can get my running sorted in the next few weeks, i might well try and race the big woody!

My friends in NZ told me I appear in the coverage but I'm still waiting for my copy of the DVD to arrive, I think it's got lost in the post. Someone else saw the coverage while on holiday in Italy recently and she spotted me too.
I guess I'll get to see it sometime.

Saw a lady Pirate cycling on Box hill at lunchtime today!
Yelled Gooo Pirate!, not that she needed it, she was looking strong. Sorry if you wondered what on earth was going on!!
It was very exciting, driving up behind a small group, seeing a bright yellow top then wondering, could it possibly be???? Yes it might be.... YES!!! It is! My first Pirate spot in the wild as it were!!!
(Also saw Happychap and Toucs today but that wasn't the same, they were in the shop!!)
Ooooh, that was me! Shiraz was also there, but not in colours.
I had four shouts today - two of "pirate" and two of "wankers" so thanks for being one of the nice ones lol!
I saw a lady in a pirate top on Box Hill today. She was being chased by a fat old bloke who looked like he was riding a shiny new ladies bike.
(someone made wanker signs at TheMachine last week, then parked their car, then tried to grab her... then a few miles later someone threw a bottle at her... oh, the joys of cycling)
