  • My right leg is longer than the left and was advised to see a podiatrist. She made me plastic orthotics from heel to midsole for both feet. I have had the right one adjusted since. I still get aches in knee, IT band and back on the right side I went for a gait analysis and new running shoes and my right leg strikes perfectly but the left side doesn't. Why do I get pain in the right side and not on the left. I get no pain running it is afterwards. Please advise

  • Muttley- great knee orthopaedic surgeon in Reading is Richard Dodds (and I'm not related to him!)

    I did some research and picked him for Mr FL's dodgy knee and then several friends recommended him as well. Really nice chap and very sporty (ex-hockey player and ran the second LM when a student) so none of that "if it hurts when you run then stop" rubbish.
