I'm currently in bulgaria and loving every minute as a city fan even more so when the taxi driver started ranting about berbatov and saying what a national treasure petrov and bojinov are hahahahahahhaha hah aha haha haaa
If I were a City fan I'd be more worried about the shower Mark Hughes calls a football team & also concerning myself with issues such how will we manage to convince decent players to play in front of a 1/2 empty stadium that won't be enjoying the Europa league football next season or the even bigger concern the last time you won a trophy was 33 years
Not our strongest team but I'm not going to use that as an excuse - the youngsters played well. Everton were good and a very difficult team to break down. You win some, you lose some. Penalties are a crap way of deciding a match but we've benefitted in the recent past and everyone knows they'll happen if you can't decide it in 120 minutes.
A grudging congratulations to Everton, who I now hope win it.
A blip in my 'loving every minute'. Just the mention of city brightened my day - there's always someone a hell of a lot worse off.
It was a crap game though... I think we were a bit overawed ... I like the look of that Welbeck and the twins; not sure about the lad with the dreadlocks (Anderson?)
... and Vidic had a stormer (As did Rio and the two Everton Centre-Backs) . How Vidic played so shite against the ladyboy (Torres) is one of life's great mysteries
He is the definition of 'professional' in my book. Not blessed with great skill, pace or ball control but a heart like a lion and a driving force as captain, leads by example and not afraid of looking for the ball even when he's out of form. I prefer him at right back, but he's slotted into the old Carsley role very nicely and has been the rock which our defence is built around - I wish he was still 25.
He'll probably make a very good coach or manager...
he also gave away the free kick that portugal scored from in euro 2004... but i dont care i love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a thread how did i miss this.... Moyes Moyes Davey Davey Moyes. He's got red hair but we don't care, Davey Davey Moyes. COYB!!! Chelsea next, the Cups got the toffees name on it!

You are a bad bad man Mr P
More evidence that Berbatov is a plonker, methinks.
*snigger*
Where's our BRT?

Lack of respect?
Moyes' mind games?
Berbatov too laid back?
Who cares?
I would have thought you would Corinth
No complaints here,we lost fair & square on the day.
'It's funny old game Saint'

x-post - didn't know BRT was also going to do a 'gracious loser' post!
See, we're not pure evil after all.
Machada looks very reminiscent of a young Totti, don't ya think?
Look at Phil Nevs expression in the Corinths pic above, once a red !!!
Vidic was immense, the twins show signs of real class, Welbeck and Macheda linked up well.
Anderson? He's busy, often not brilliant, can't shoot, but yet puts penalties away just when you think all hope is lost. Not that it helped this time.
Phil the 'red'...

I blocked him in once near Wilmslow for cutting me up.......
He's not blessed with much driving skill either. I wasn't driving a sports car.....
No ,that is what he think's of you lot
That's a bit weak, like his bum-fluff moustache.
But at least he has a sense of humour:
Swimming pool
Hmm Phil Neville was earning 19 grand a week 10 years ago.....
and he gave away that penalty that took us out of Euro 2000....
I love this this Stretford end classic song.................Gary Neville is a
fantastic horticulturalist & he hates Scousers
I know I am slightly biased but I have never understood the criticism both brothers have received from playing point of view?
But been model pro's & excellent servants to both club & country.
