I've just emailed you with my details - I think I have got one of the 10 extra places from Tracey at HQ after Dalli was off line - I'm relieved to see Dalli that you have now got a place from ORB too otherwise you would have had to have had your number back....
Thanks so much for organising the waiting list - you know already from all the previous postings how much everyone appreciates your efforts. I'm v excited and will have to go for a 6am run in the rain tomorrow to celebrate.
So we really are steaming through the list of names - best of luck to everyone else still waiting. See you in Abingdon!!

I've continuing calf problems that prevent me running anything more than 4 miles currently and I'm never going to be fit for Abingdon so another number available.

no blue legs I've sent you an e-mail with the application form for les and i've e-mailed wilfie via RW chris so as soon as he gets hold of me I'll forward you his details to sort out payment.
right better get off to work, bit late as just been to docs and he's given me some proper painkillers so at least i can sit down without left legs killing me ! he does reckon the physio will start to work soon, I damm well hope so, nearly 2 months of hardly any running is driving me mad...maddddddd I tell you !!!

still a bit of a backlog as people on list are not contacting me when a number is available, with hindsight should have put in big letters YOU MUST CHECK LIST REGULARLY !!!! I expect a lot of people didn't think the numbers would be available so quickly !

Hi fast legs, thanks for asking, managing a bit of x-training and today is the first day I've actually not had to take any painkillers for about 6 weeks so hopefully back out running very soon !!!!!!!

HQ has asked me to ask again if anyone has any preferences for food before and after the race as no one seemed to reply to my earlier post, any ideas anyone ???

Sorry catchee monkey, missed your post, the number doners don't actually get any notification, the person getting the number is normally confirmed by HQ and also their name appears on the list but I don't think they have thought about confirming to the people giving up their numbers. I suppose they assume that once you get your payment that's confirmation enough, and I believe Piranha has seen her name on the list at the Abingdon website.
The thing I'm finding most difficult is matching up the doner with the recipient when the recipient gets back to me especially if the number has dropped down to next on the list after the original recipient hasn't contacted me, lucky I'm not deleting ANY e-mails relating to the race ! Might try putting the doners name next to the person on the list in future !
right off to try and contact the next five on the list who all have an application form to go to them direct
