Well deserved winners. I had a sneaking suspicion that they might get it when Mrs Pink phoned to say she'd voted for them ..... she would soooo not vote for a dance group unless they were exceptional.
FWIW - I love to see so many young contestants on these shows. I'm thinking alos of the Andrew Lloyd Webber talent shows etc. The teenage generation get so much bad press because of mob behaviour, it's brilliant to see those committed to the passion in their life working to achieve their best.
What is all this negative publicity Susan Boyle has been getting ?
I thought it was a fair result - they were the best dance act and Susan B was the best singer - can't really compare the two so I'd have settled for either winning - though I think I'd have given it Susan Boyle if I had to choose.
Is that sax guy any good - I thought it was quite nice to listen to but for all I know what he was playing might have been pretty basic stuff.
as someone who reads pretty much every newspaper the press reports on susan boyle have been horrendous.
usually they wait a week or so before sticking the knife in.
what is particularly low is their complete ignorance of the fact that the woman is has quite bad learning disabilities and is clearly finding the situation difficult to handle.
unfortunately, she believed it when people said they loved her, not realising that next week they wouldn't.
Good result, Diversity were brilliant. Mind you, I'm just relieved that neither Hollie (shrill and sharp in the top register) or 2 Grand (overdose of saccharine and musically weak) took it!
Not actually read any of them, but was pretty disgusted at one of the papers today. Front page picture of Susan scowling, and a caption saying it was her response to coming second. Either they were being stupid or deliberately stirring, as to me it was quite clearly a pic of her waiting to hear the result. She looked quite a bit happier after the result: think she was glad not to have won.
I also think Susan Boyle was pleased not to have won it. Although IMO she wasn't the best of the final ten anyway, and people had got over the shock factor.
If she had got in last week, she would have won as the shock factor would still have been there.

<< limps off to see if Stavros will adopt me >>
Ive got little talent but pretty sure I could come up with a few routines to get the audience laughing their socks off.
Anyone want to join?
Lastly, and most importantly, how lucky is that guy in DCD Seniors
Great to see the boys from S X win.
Fully deserved it. Each time they pulled out the stops
