I drink coffee occasionally - sometimes I'll just get a craving for it. Can't be instant though, always filter, or brewed in a cafetiere. Medium strength, no milk. Rocket fuel
I drank more in January than I have in the rest of my life I think. Needed something to keep me awake, and Caffe Nero Mocha was just the thing. I even bought an espresso machine to make my own but it's been used once and is now in a cupboard.
green tea no milk! no fuss easy! started because their was never any milk at work! also (erroneously) because I thought no caffeine in it! My caffeine addiction is still an issue though!
I'm training in Eldoret at the moment and the Kenyans drink Kenyan tea with every meal! I normally don't drink tea out of preference, but when in Rome....
It's far better to cut other stuff out of your diet than tea, such as alcohol, butter, processed food, anything with much saturated fat etc

I read an article about a Kenya runners' training camp a while back - how they trained, what they ate, etc..
They drank a LOT of tea, so I don't think it's likely to hamper our performance.
LOL @ NATO tea,
our RSM used to come in and shout 1 NATO please for someone to brew for him
I still have my old green issue mug (and still use it )
