Why do you need a logo of the right size, AL?  I just showed the design to the tat-chap and said "about this big" (obviously, whilst showing him how big I meant...).  He then re-sized to suit.  When I turned up on the day, he had a few different sized stencils ready, so I just chose the size I wanted.  Simples.

because I am putting my own design in it and want to draw it to scale so that the tatt guy/gal gets it right!

Have found a way, have imported image into iphoto and reduced its scale from there, still tinkering with size, seems I really do want a small one!!!!

  • Well done on your tatt Cybor!image

Marshallini that is a cool design.

  • I want someone to do the logo on my toenails - but not being a nail person I have no idea if that's a 'normal' sort of thing to ask for or if I'll be laughed out of town. Are there any beauticians here?

  • Yes, me Waff.

Obviously, I'm not - but I do have a set of permanent marker pens and a willing attitude.  You bringing your feet to Litchfield in a couple of weeks?  If so, I'll have a stab then.  As it's you, no charge. image

  • Waff you want your toe nails tattooed? Or just nail polished with it?
  • Just varnished! image
  • That would look cool actually!

Whoeeee, I've just scaled it down to the right size....oh this is exciting!!!

  • Go for it Wil!image

Having scribbled away for a while now on various designs, I like just plain black at the end of the day otherwise it doesn't look like an m. or red with swiss cross!

  • I really want a very little one but "the bitch" says no.  I am trying to find somewhere to do a temporary one to see how he feels if I do it but if he goes ballistic I can say it will wear off.
  • That's really cool Will! I'd consider something like that and possibly with the flag of the country where the race was aswell (quite like that idea).  Whereabouts you thinking of having it?
  • great design Will, I really like that.
  • I think im going to have it on the top of my arm/shoulder ... thought about flag but cant be @rsed to have it updated each time i do another
  • I think getting it updated would be quite fun, kind of a post race ritual image

Rio - it's ok, tell the bitch he doesn't need to get one too, it's just you that's getting one!
  • Will - I like that but would probably have it the other way round - ie with the x bones over the M. image

AL - so you're definitely going to get one?

Rio - ideally I'd have my personal stylist paint the M. on my shoulder in indelible ink once a week..... are temporary tatoos really temporary?

  • i was toying with something temporary.............let me know if you can find something suitable Rio

Hopefully more temporary than the temporary road marking paint I have image
  • Waff. yip, although I'm kinda on the spur of the moment type person. So this week when I decided I was all ready to get it done, I would have gone in straight away but I'm taking the advice to wait til after my holiday so I can go swim etc. I'm hoping when I get back that I still have the same impetus.
  • >readies pearing knife and indian ink<
  • Erm, from what i've heard temporary tattoos don't really work. They're meant to fade but I think they usually leave splotches. Might be wrong though......
  • Barley that sounds way scary!!!imagehttps://us.v-cdn.net/6027274/uploads/forum/smilies/disappointed_smiley.gif' />imagehttps://us.v-cdn.net/6027274/uploads/forum/smilies/big_smile_smiley.gif' />
  • Temporary tattoos are temporary, the ink fades over time, the trouble is they do not fade even so you end up with a patchy design.
