Speaking of broads, I nearly entered for the "Round Norf**k Relay" . . . . which would have been a grave error, as apparently I have some sort of wedding anniversary that weekend
Know how you feel - I always have to tread carefully through the minefield of birthdays, weddings, anniversaries etc when entering races
OK, bad news here I'm sorry to say.
Mum just phoned to say that John, my brother in law, has just died.
He has been very seriously ill for a long time, and with his advanced dementia he had a very limited quality of life, but it is still very sad.
