I've been volunteering at Congleton parkrun the last 3 Saturdays. Great fun, and they're a friendly bunch there. But one Saturday I'll have to bite the bullet and actually r*n the bliddy thing!
I'm hoping to do 3 miles of R5/W1 tomorrow, if the gales aren't enough to blow me into the canal. I've set myself the target of doing the parkrun when I can plod 30 mins without walking.
Thinking of Flr and Bobbis who are doing GNR tomorrow. The weather promises to be... interesting
We are all fine. After spening years teaching the girls to walk and talk they have abanoned both in favour of lying around staring at a laptop. They do occasionally ask me if tea is ready.
As for Deb, she's like a good wine...no, sorry, she likes a good whine. Usually at me.
I am still plodding. I can't stop. Marathon number 30 is in a couple of weeks time.
It's good to hear that you're back plodding and racing. Is it pain free?
Managing to get a bit more consistency now with my r*nning, dan dan is too....just not at thd same time, for obvious reasons (I.e. Mini Dansam cant keep up yet).

Hi Mike Frog

Bobs paced Flr round to a pb of 2:21
and they only got rained on for a mile
Was that Sam? The real Sam?
The girls were asking after you the other day. Prompted by the degus in Pet Shat Home.
*pinches self*
Yes, I'm the real me! How the devil are you XB?? And how are Deb and the girls? Are you still plodding?

Can you talk Nottingham yet, me duck?
It's similar to Potteries
I was told the other day that I addressed someone as dook 'almost convincingly'
It's only been 3 years
Ah, does that mean that the XBettes have entered their teenage years then?
We are just embarking on the Terrible Twos here.
Plodding not pain free but less probs than before, prob due to shorter runs and less mileage.

Trust Yeo to slip one in!
*takes a small bow*
lol
see, we haven't lost it!
*rumage*
Found it!
5.6m for me tonight.
And 6.5m last night
Good plodding!
Did a very hilly 10k on Sunday. No flat bits, all either up or down. It was ok, after all I dont NEED to be able to walk for the rest of the week.
Woo hoo. Are you as zoomy as you used to be?
A bit slower due to the still-unresolved back issues which cause stiffness etc. And less time to train too!
Sam ! Mwah. We have Aiki here at the moment for a wee visit. Hope you are all well and good x
*waves* to everyone and a little mwah too!
*waves to Bobs, Aiki, Flr and Womble*...
..*MWAH* all.......how are you all?
Managing to get a bit more consistency now with my r*nning, dan dan is too....just not at thd same time, for obvious reasons (I.e. Mini Dansam cant keep up yet).
What's new in plodworld then?
Te he - just read it back - I didn't mean running and breastfeeding at exactly the same time but it is a very funny image!!! Sorry.

Just got into Yorkshire Mara - so some serious summser training to do
