Agree on the heat, I was suffering after 25K so glad of all the water provided. I think I went the correct way at that lock more by luck than judgement as I remember worrying for a bit that I couldn't see anyone either behind me or ahead.The last bit round Hackney Marshes was tortuous particularly when you knew the end was in sight but you were running away from it.
Enjoyed it nevertheless and will be back.
Many thanks to the organisers for everything from the transport, marshals, jaffa cakes to the plentiful supply of water. It was great to be part of a small but very enthuasiastic and friendly field of runners. This was a memorable journey from home to - Hertfordshire - to home. Already looking forward to two2go.
Hmmmmm, it was ever so slightly warm.
At just over 5 hours i was only 1 hr 18 minutes off my PB ekkkkkk.
Oh well there is always next year, and if catch that wasp which stung me on my left quad grrrrrrr.
