I also run by an alpaca farm. the buggers freak me out as they just stare at you as you run by - literally don't take their eyes off you - most disconcerting....
We've got llamas here a couple of miles away, makes a change from all the sheep. Although before I moved here I didn't know there were different types of sheep. I can tell them apart now. Sad.
Haven't seen anyone walking a ferret. Just a few dogs although there don't seem to be many dogs round here. Or cats. Strange. In London there's millions of them.
just lots of llamas. And also if you are in the bit of the country I think you are, there are also bison, lions, pumas and other strange creatures in a private zoo near the air field. Which caused a problem with the local parachuting club who noticed that if they went slightly off course they would land in the lion pen.
We have three alpacas in the field opposite our house. Harry, Burt and Alfie (so I've been told). They are a little strange, and their eyes do follow me as I run past. I also run past a house that has goats and ostriches in a little paddock.
And wallabies are the new lawnmowers, apparently. According to this.
Private zoo near the airfield? That must be the one the drunk people on the train told me about. Although my boyfriend's a member of the parachute club and hasn't mentioned anything about lions.

errrr a llama?
Bloody hell FB you got it- a man walking (or hopping) a wallaby on a lead.
I mean I 've seen agoth walking three ferrets but this is the industrial North so to be expected, but a wallaby?
I think me running and discreet are 3 words that don't go together.....LOL!
post the thread again and I won't have another go......and I've edited my post so maybe you can edit your answer
I went past a llama farm the other day, they had just been clipped. They looked very sorry for themselves.
I often see a bloke and his wife walking their ferret in the morning. Very strange sight.
Edit, Cathy, you are near me in the country. They may be the same llamas.
I do see a pony getting taken for walks occasionally. Thats strange.
Will keep an eye out for ferrets.
