I want to go for a run now. Since my vastus medialises don't even like me walking at the moment, that may be unrealistic. Maybe my little Ivor will fancy a toddle down to the wildfowl lake later. I saw ducklings on the canal on Wednesday, so there might be some on the lake too.
Yes, we all began as lurkers (though some of us were here the day the Fat Club was born).
I am SO hungry. I shall be eating my patients soon, which would be A Bad Thing - the GMC wouldn't mind provided I didn't have sex with them before eating them, but they're throwing notes into my Moonwalk fund this afternoon, which is pretty impressive because I haven't told them about it officially. Trailwalker posters are going up too. I must festoon the church with them, and sort out a date for a cake sale.
Funny thing, I've been following this eat when your hungry and until you're full scheme and I think it's what's kept the weight off while I was ill. Yesterday I went to the gym and I just couldn't seem to get 'not hungry' I kept stuffing my self with low fat carbs and pizza.
Yeah, I was lucky. My company gave me quite a good package to send me off. So can have a few months off, but looking for work so I can save as much of the redundancy money as possible.
Only a few jobs around, with some jobs being sent to multiple agencies. So apply for the same jobs twice.
Saxplayer, does that mean you are one of those types who are personally responsible for me being a "target GP" for every rep on the patch?
If so, tell them that the words "my company wants to make a donation to Dr Raptor's current fundraising escapade" will unfailingly open my door to them.
Because of you I've actually just been for a run after faffing around for the afternoon. Wanted to catch last post so put kit on jogged to PO then on to Rec for 10x 80 metre uphill sprints.
The motivational power of the forum strikes again - but I must have a shower before I fetch the kids!

I'm glad we make you smile Carrie :-)
Called agencies and some leads look promising.
JJ - I am of the opinion that carbs make you hungry because of the deal with insulin, whereas fats make you feel full.

Oh well, at least there is some interest in me.
Sam - what do you do?
Developer (VB and SQL), analyst, team leader
that sort of thing.
May be back on later.
Good luck again.
