Old Timer - back on the road

In just less than seven weeks after surgery on my knee, a re-hab programme involving,10 sessions with the physios,daily leg strengthening exercises with machines and ankle weights,cycling, swimming and stretching exercises to cool down.I did a 3 mile run, non stop this morning in 28 minutes and 42 seconds with no adverse reaction afterwards.I've just got to stay patient and carry on with the same programme for a few more weeks before i can up the distance and look for an event to take part in.I'm back on the road and it feels just great!
