I am 6 weeks out from my first marathon and training is going reasonably to schedule. I ran 18.5 miles yesterday which although tiring went well and I didn't feel any niggles. Last night however I started to feel sore direcly behind my knee cap - tender to touch and sore when I fully extend my knee.
Any suggestions? I have a phyio appointment scheduled for Thur but would like an idea of what it miht be, and if I should/shouldn't be doing anything.
