You would get into touble with e-bay and the organisers. It's been done before for a different race. I'll sell mine for a 6 month supply of chocolate, and that's how much chocolate I can eat in 6 months.
twas a jest like - i wouldn't want to benefit in such an unsavoury manner, but would be open to bribes all the same. I currently am recovering from shoulder surgery (just 4 days ago) so there is a good chance I won't beable to compete. If this is the case I will give my entry to anyone who agrees to run the distance in one of these www.morphsuits.co.uk
If you want some crap carb loading, dip it in rice pudding. training up for something at the moment and need all the calories I can get. It's my excuse and sticking to it.
If you don't got a number there some good halfs coming up in may Eyen (allways spell that wrong so assuming I just have) and Buxton. Both well run and good fun. A lot more challenging for hills through.
Don't panic if you havn't got your number yet. The organisers are retired folks who run it as a cottage industrey. They will be putting number's in enverlopes for the next week or so.
Hi all, got number yesterday looking forward to this, planning a 12 miler Sunday to get me in the mood - anyone listening the 'Marathon talk' podcast, it's a great listen for an hour?
Well Physio said to do a 3 mile test run following my shin injury, I did and it felt fantastic, now I just need to take care of it. I know my training has lost a lot of miles but at least im still going. Woop woop!

could start putting entries on Ebay and sell to the highest bidder judging by its popularity - i'll sell mine for £50
Do they have to be McVities or can i get the cheaper ones?
I saw 2 guys at the start of the great north run in morph suits. It must get sweaty in them. And what do you do for water? Could get very messy
Still, that wouldnt put me off. Ran the GNR as Jamaica bob sleigh team in full lycra carrying a home made sled!
Anyway, if your shoulder isnt up to it, ill pay you for your place. Training for the event anyway on the off chance i can find myslef an entrance.
I have mine you should get it soon
