Beans on toast definitely counts. You have to heat up the beans while simutaneously toasting the bread - that's high-level multi-tasking. And it's a fine, nutritious meal if the bread's wholemeal.
The BMI is a very good measure of fat mass at a population level (i.e. in large groups of people). It should never be used for individuals, as has been done in this article.
I have a body mass index over 30. I have no excess stomach and run daily. I am built like a brick doo dah. Majority muscle ! I have therefor always thought that the BMI stood for Bloody mindless idiot Index.
My BMI is 25, which makes me overweight!! although my body fat is average 17%, I`m close to 50 years old, got a 30" waist, 42" chest. I run 5-6 days a week.

My calculator goes down to 4ft. Not sure what we do with 3ft midgets......not sure if they apply to us.

Yeh that's a bit sizeist - midgets can't worry about their weight so they aren't catered for?

Its 2011 and where still using a BMI from the 1830s! lots of things have changed in over "180" years...lol..
