And yesterday, I miss-aimed my spit and it hit my leg and then glooped all the way down
Does spitting (and so on) really help? Don't you just make more spit in your mouth when you get rid of fluid? I must confess that I have never felt the need to expell fluids from my head when running. In the winter I sometimes take a hanky with me......
Maybe that's just me. But when you spit and clear your nose, please check that I'm not right behind you.

Generally, I spit because the spit turns kind of like gel and then it makes swallowing hard - which means that I swallow and gag and can't breathe.
So I gob it out

Sossy - how do you know this about your friend? Did she actually tell you?
I don't find it necessary to spit or snot-rocket either!
If my nose is running (which it usually is when I'M running), then I find tipping my head back slightly stops it trickling down my nose.
My mouth is usually dry rather than producing anything to be spat out.
I also run in England on the odd occasion. I also wanted to share my thoughts so it doesn't happen to anyone else!
There aren't really any Danish forums that are anywhere near as good as this one. Anyway, you'd miss me if I didn't post here.
